oh, and your girlfriend mentioning hillary swank reminded me of the first time i ever watched boys dont cry. i had absolutely no idea what it was about, and when i rented it i didn't even read the back to see what it was about. coming from the seemingly 10 second trailer, i thought it was your random depressing story about boy/girl teenage love.

i turned it on, and wowowowow. i fell so deeply in love with hillary swank. then, after the first scene when she almost gets the shit beat out of her for being homosexual, i felt pretty moronic. i couldn't get over the fact that she wasn't a boy. maybe it would've helped if i had watched karate kid 3, but i hadn't.

whatever. i am still in love with her regardless. she makes my heart skip beats in that movie. phew.
