that's not ringing any bells with me but I remember that it was a hardback and it had a little square picture of cartoon hillbilly people on the front cover.

i would have given my left nut to see Janis at woodstock.

Her performances aren't even included on the Woodstock sndrk CDs for some kind of crazy copyright reasons.

My mom was born in '56 making her 12 by the time Woodstock came around so despite her incredibly AWESOME concert-going background I'm afraid Woodstock was a little before her time. Which is sadness.

Kudos to your mom.

...and I'll have to check out that Beth chick.

A wonderfully pathos filled post, Rachel. Very good job. thescuspeaks May 11 2005, 13:51:30 UTC
Cries and Whispers is so powerful and sad. It's probably my favorite Bergman film.

I've got a pretty full weekend but I was hoping that maybe Morgan and crew would watch it with me sometime in the upcoming week.

Although Morgan and I do have some QAF to catch up on. We haven't even watched any since I've been staying there. In addition to that they have a fair amount of movies i've never seen so I might want to take advantage of having access to their collection while I've got it for the next week and a half.

I fell asleep last night watching Meet the Flockers. There are too many movies in my life and too little time.

I support there being too little time to watch Meet the Fockers.
