By some WEIRD coincidence of fate I ended up at a Hanson concert last night.  My friend Jaime had extra tickets and she called me at work to ask me if I would go with her.  She really wanted me to go and she needed someone to keep her company, so I said ok.

I ended up meeting up with some other people when I got there like Kristy, Ifer , Mad Read more... )

hanson, concert, whoop-ass

I'm not going to lie, it makes me love you more that you went. I went to a Hanson concert last August...and yes, I may be a bit ashamed. Also, seeing that picture of the DUC makes me happy...I spent many hours running around that place, sitting in the balcony cafeteria seating, and reading articles. Ahh...memories.

I like the "If Only" lyrics because I think it's really fitting to realizing that you're attracted to people that you're not supposed to be attracted to. Like realizing that you're attracted to a woman for the first time.

If only I had the guts to feel this way, if only you'd look at me and wanna stay, if only I could take you in my arms and say, I won't go [I LOVE the drums right here] cuz I need you, please don't go, cause I need you now

So, you debated at the DUC?

I agree. If Only is one of those songs that I used to crank in my car at full volume in the middle of sophomore year of high school.

I went to debate camp at Emory the summer before my senior year of high school which, over 3 weeks, allowed me plenty of time in the DUC. Also, plenty of time trying to remember how the fuck to get to the library...makes me appreciate that Macalester covers around 2.5 city blocks of space. Mmm...baby sized school.

Haha, don't forget about Jenny's witticism:

Jenny's mom: "I raised you!"
Jenny: "Because you had unprotected sex!"

There was one at Waffle House too, but it escapes me now.

HA! Oh yeah.

Taylor's married because his girlfriend was pregnant.
Zac is engaged so there's speculations that he may have a bun in the oven as well.

So that lead us to determine that Issaac (the OLDEST one by the way) must not be married either because he's gay, or maybe his girlfriend who's pro-choice.

That was the best. :)

you like them? you're serious?

I wish I'd have know that and you could have come to the concert with me Tuesday night. I might have even been able to hook up with another comp ticket.

This was ::cough:: my second time seeing them in concert.

Well, when you're being a sarcastic teeny-bopper you have to use exclamation points, lots of caps, and the number one.

Example:
what are YOU talking about??? Hanson ROCKS the MOST!!!1
