So I feel like it’s time to come clean. For months now I’ve been asking you all to be patient, and swearing I’m trying to update, and that I intend to finish all my stories. It’s been so long now I don’t know if there’s anyone out there that still cares, but on the off chance there is a couple of you out there I felt I owed you this.

I'm sorry to hear that Dawnie, but I totally understand the frustrations. I'm somewhat dealing with the same thing.

Selfishly, I hope you get back to writing NH because I enjoy your stories, but if you don't, we have some great stories of yours we can continue to love!

Thanks for the lovely words Lee :) I'm hoping that maybe detaching from everything might just end up helping me on this front and I might make a turn around cause at one point I really did enjoy it. We shall see! I hope your frustrations get resolved!

I know how incredibly hard this decision is for you, Dawnie. We've both discussed this issue many times and it's a struggle between trying to be optimistic vs realistic, wanting to have the passion back for the show and characters that used to inspire us but not being able to get it... and of course feeling bad about letting down the people who have been reading

I think you know by now that "never say never" is pretty much my motto when it comes to writing and while I'm really sad to see you make this post, I'm glad to hear you're not ruling out the possibility of one day feeling inspired to finish your fics and I definitely hope that day comes.

I know how hard this decision has been for you, Dawnie, and you know I've got your back. While this fandom has driven us both batty more than a few times, one thing I'm grateful to it for is us getting to know each other and becoming friends.

Hopefully we can catch up soon on AIM.

oh and I should explain, not invested because I never started reading them, not because they're not good, LOL, I'm sure they're amazing. I just avoid getting in to longer stories because yeah they never get finished. But I totally agree that you have to do what feels right for you. And in the end, fandom will get over it. ;) So ignore the crazies and do whats best for you! But the NH fanfic world has DEFINITELY lost one of the best. ;) Because you are AMAZING.
