Title: 'Family business', chapter 1/? (WIP).
Pairings: Danny/Steve, with background Kono/Chin.
Rating: PG-13 for this chapter; NC-17 overall, for sexual content.
Spoilers: only minor ones for Season 1 episodes - it's an AU where Danny arrives in Hawaii after Steve does, and isn't a member of Five-0.
Word count: 4,200 words for this chapter.

This is a damn intriguing beginning and I can't wait to see what happens next. Poor Danny and Steve, to be hit with an instant attraction only to find out seconds later that they might be related--DAMN!!

ETA: At first I was truly worried that Danny would not have any friends at the HPD because Meka was at Five-0 now but then you gave him Reyes, so he at leasr has one person in HPD who is trying to make him feel welcome :)

Thank you! I seem to enjoy making these guys suffer, but I always get them there in the end ;-)

Yeah, I thought Danny deserved someone who'd help him adjust but not take any bullshit. And on rewatching the Meka episode, I noticed that none of the featured or background detectives were women. So if HPD did have a female detective, I thought she might be more willing to give Danny a chance.

Hee, thank you! I don't quite know where these ideas come from, but they're all very demanding that I start writing them nownownow. At one point I had three separate H50 stories on the go, plus a Supernatural / White Collar crossover that's been on the backburner for months.

Chapter 2 is pretty much done; it just needs editing, now. I hope to post it by the end of this weekend :)
