Oh, this is delightful! I love John's inner dialogue and observations. I just want to, well, feed him after this! A truly realistic and well-written fic about them. Absolutely lovely!

Thank you :) This just started as a drabble about Sherlock and restaurants, and turned into this whole food-themed thing. I'm glad it worked for you!

Oh this is lovely!!!!! I love this idea of using food as an way of distinguishing John and Sherlock - especially because, hilariously, we never do see Sherlock eat during the series. When they're in restaurants of cafes its always John who's scoffing down the food while Sherlock just sits there and sticks out like a sore thumb. *g*

Thanks! When Sherlock said that he never eats during a case, I just knew that I had to expand on that.

So lovely - and I really appreciate the Mrs Hudson-love! She doesn't get enough :)

Thanks! I had more about Mrs Hudson in a previous draft (about how she was far more tolerant and laidback than John's old drill sergeant) but it was long enough already.

Wow, that's great! The daffodils definitely make it pre-slash 8)

Thank you, darling :) I was trying to show that John wasn't quite aware of his feelings yet. He's not buying flowers for Sherlock, oh no...
