Protesting can become a problem

Having seen four out of the six episodes of Sherlock, I noticed there's one line that gets repeated a lot. This vidder noticed it too. :D

It doesn't surprise me that they keep repeating that everyone thinks Sherlock and John are a couple, they act like one so it would be strange if people didn't assume it. What did bother me was that Moriarty was portrayed as so effeminite. Like we're supposed to equate appearing gay to being evil.

Although... Moriarty makes a point that he was 'playing gay' (with Sherlock in the lab), so I would have thought that implies he's not, and if so, that would mean 'evil' isn't 'gay', if anything. 'Effeminate' not being the same thing at all, of course.

(That joke has become stale through overuse, imo... although that would be speedily fixed if they kicked it up a notch somehow.)
