Oh my goodness, you take me back. My now 17 year old son adored Thomas the Tank Engine. He had one toy green train that was Henry and another that was Percy and I would constantly mix the names up (on purpose) which he thought was hysterically funny. My son's middle name is James so naturally the red engine was his favorite. We must have had $500 worth of train track stuff from gifts and such, so naturally, my next son couldn't care less about trains. It was all construction and rescue vehicles for him. Sigh.
Anyway, enough about my boys. I think you captured the House boys very well. You have the tone of little boys perfectly; and I love how both little Jack and House are enjoying Cuddy's confusion alongside a mix of exasperation. How can she not know her trains? And doctors?.
Yay! Another fic in the MFS verse! I love it. Such a cute addition to a wonderful, albeit heartbreaking series. Thanks so much for writing and posting.

And oh, Cuddy. Not really a fan but I do miss her!
