Not even now, four months into this relationship - this relationship he pursued. She insisted on real dates, and real conversations, and wooing. He wooed.
Now, he tells her all the time how pretty she is, which is code for: You disappoint me. You’re not who I want. I can’t have my equal, so I’m having you.
