BOLDED LYRICS : These are the lyrics that made me associate this song with Gelphie.
As soon as I heard this song, it brought forth visions of Gelphie, especially the rain mention at the beginning. It made me think of Elphaba's rain allergy and how it could bring Galinda and Elphaba closer. Also ofcourse, the "look to the sky" lines. These, made me interpret this song as Glinda's POV, portraying her pain and thoughts after Elphaba leaves her in "Defying Gravity". Thus, obviously making it Musical-verse.
Also, I realise that I put the two first lines of lyrics the wrong way around, I'd be lying if I said this was intentional. I have to learn to check things before I hit save.
