I know!! I've never seen it happen onscreen, just in fanfiction. I can't wait until that episode airs.

Congratulations! The exercise is probably killer, but I bet you also feel great.

I just want to put a humorous spin on it, which I probably could since there was plenty of things that happened I could easily mock :)

Humorous essays are always a good way to go, I think. If you want to share it, I'd love to read anything you write.

Unfortunately, I just read a huge Grey's spoiler. It was in Ask Ausiello so don't read the latest coulmn. There was no warning, unless I missed it. But I agree - if you read or hear about the show you think it's trashy and soapy.

YES! I actually watched it 2x in a row because I thought it was phenomenal. It was a scary episode too...that little girl singing in the beginning? And those demon faces? I was getting the chills while watching it. That premise would have made a great horror movie.

And of course it had it's funny parts, such as Xander beating up Spike or Giles giving his 'presentation' about the demons.

Oh, and what did you think of Riley? I actually really like him so far, but from what I've seen, he's not a fan favorite. I'm assuming because he's not a sexy, bad ass vampire ;)

"Hush" is by far a TV masterpiece. I watched it again right after I got my DVDs and realized that I didn't know its brilliance the first couple times I saw it. It's kind of a stand alone episode, just in the sense that the story is just so scary and creative that it not only represents everything good about the show, it's a solid hour of television.

The scene with Giles presentation is hilarious. I love when Buffy points to her heart and Willow is like, "Boobs?" And Giles' drawings!

I liked Riley! He started out as a pretty generic college boyfriend. But I liked that he progressed into a real, layered character. He was a good contrast to Angel. But, yeah, I remember that not a lot of people liked him. Probably because he came right after Angel.

I was a twenty-something plus one Buffy virgin...until this week, that is, and I'm really enjoying it in a way that I never thought that I would. My friend has introduced me, we've rented some seasons, and we're slowly making our way through the ones she's pointing out as can't miss. I don't really do 'sci-fi' and suspending reality that well, so I'm really surprised.

Maybe this bodes even better for Farscape and the Muppets upon my return, huh? ;)

Your writing class sounds like much work, but much inspiration and creativity, too, and I'm envious! :)

I didn't think I would like it either...and like you I was surprised when I actually did. And if you like Buffy, I think you'll definitely love Farscape. Muppets and all :)
