My very first decoden project ^^

The calk was a bit runny so it turned out a little messy. I just wanted to try a simple design and I think it turned out cute. :)

I would really appreciate some criticism.

I can't do shells, this was with a large calking gun not a little squeeze tube so maybe that made it harder? Thank you for the advice (^.^)/

Looking at this makes me think of the Sailor Moon brooches for a bit... I think you should try to do a hairbrush next, since it has a bigger flat area for decoration. Since you put caulk on the handle, the bright white will get easily dirty, so perhaps try to figure out a different way to decorate the handle next time. Also, if you have the chance to buy glitter or make fake sprinkles out of polymer clay, I think it would have more of an impactful effect on the design.

I think an easier object to start out with decoden would be something like a compact mirror? You can look up icing/piping techniques for cake decorating online for more ways to decorate your object. Good luck with your deco!

I thought of that too, like a magic cellulite wand! I was so scared doing this I didn't want to use too much supplies in case it didn't turn out good

I'm a fan of lots of obnoxiously cute stuff on deco. Maybe small beads to look like sprinkles or small rhinestones?
