Hmm, maybe they altered a frosting tip so two colors could go through at the same time? Like divided it somehow. Whatever they do for an frozen yogurt machine basically :)

Personally I like grace clay but its a bit pricey. For the base you could use something like fimo or sculpy though. What I like about grace clay is its air dry and I hate having to bake anything in the oven.

The Delight clay is REALLY expensive, but it's worth it. The results are lovely, it's easy (imo) to work with, and it's incredibly light weight. If you're using caulking along with your clay pieces, you won't want to add any weight, so a light clay is really important.
- The package will probably last longer than you think, but try not to waste any of it, and store it well. (I keep mine a ziplock bag inside tupperware.)
