What I've gathered so far:

- This place is called Discedo
- Some time ago it has been destroyed; how is not yet clear
- Scientists have somehow brought us here; why is not entirely clear
- People are able to speak with the scientists, but it's difficult to get them to talk

Oh, yes, we do have a church. It's in a rather sad state of disrepair, but it's there.

Well, I'm not an expert on such things, but... well, the circumstances are far less than ideal, of course. It's rather dangerous to stay around that place for too long, I gather. And building materials might be hard to come by as well.

We protect outlying villages from Gear attacks, rob the powerful and corrupt so that we can give to the needy, we help out on humanitarian missions.

I'm not against protecting people, or helping the needy. But there are other ways to change things -- simply robbing the corrupt will not change how they think or how the powerful rule.

However...I can tell that you have good intentions, sir, and I admire that.
