Someone made a comment that got me reflecting on my social circle and I realized that my guest list would have looked a lot different if my wedding was now instead of last year. There are some people in my life that I don't get to talk to that much but when I do, I could talk to them for hours about anything and that part really hasn't changed.

Life changes and so do our people, for good or ill. Unfortunately that's just part of life. If you have enough folks around to be happy with and can look at your life without regrets- then you're golden.

Makes me miss having a dog really they tend to be far more static than people...
