And indeed he did.

Doesn't he call Alexis a princess at some point? Oh goodness.

He's at the beach...is this the part where he finds the housekeeper's son washed up on the shore? So freshly killed that the tide hadn't even swept the blood away yet? The same boy with whom he had played hide-and-seek just the day before? =P

This would be an awesome part of a running gag of people trying to figure out where Castle got his last name, and him feeding them a series of sweet - but untrue - stories about it. Love it!
