Very nicely done. I love how these brief details paint such a full picture of John and Mary as individuals and as a couple.

Favorite lines:

3. Soft: When John washes Mary's clothes, he always uses too much fabric softener.

*g* Why do so many men have such difficulty doing laundry? (But points to John for actually using the softener in the first place.)

4. Pain: After Mary falls asleep, their brand-new son in her arms, only then does John get his broken fingers set.

Yeah, there’s something really cool about the first time you use your new last name, or call yourself “wife” or your husband “hubby” for the first time.
