Pippin Pie, from the autumn Seasonals line, by Possets

The juiciest and most tart apples, the flakiest and most buttery pastry, heaps and heaps of sugar and a kiss of spice. This is Pippin Pie. Back from the original Possets' Halloween lineup by popular demand. You will just love this one.

in the imp: it definitely smells like pie. Like pie baking in your oven, where you can smell the warm buttery deliciousness of pastry wafting through the house. I don't smell apple so much as just the buttery sweet delicious warmth of fresh-baked pie.

once it's on, it's pretty much the same, but it somehow gets kind of FAKE on me. Or OLD. It smells like old, cold buttery pie crust. Or waxy Yankee Candle pie crust. And it's not so good anymore. It's not BAD, but it's no longer full of delicious. :/

You know, I just didn't love this one.

There's something about her buttery smell, I think, that just goes rancid on me. It's a nice crisp apple pie in the imp, but on me it's a more sour pie, in a "gone bad" kinda way. Sad.
