Infernal Bar-b-que Sauce, from the autumn Seasonals line, by Possets
Infernal Bar-B-Que Sauce-Lordy! What do you suppose that devils use on their victuals? Well, something sweet and piquant methinks. It smells just like hellishly good bar-b-que sauce to me, something to sink your teeth into. Mmmm, ribs! Succulent, spicy (lil bit), sweet, and gooey

in the imp it's sweet, and foody...almost a bit of chocolate in there...with a hint of something...raunchy. Spicy isn't exactly the right word, but there's an odd smell that grabs you by the nose hairs.
when I put it on, I got this weird whiff of cinnamon that faded almost immediately, and left in its place a little bit of heat, a whole lot of sweet, and a smidge of spicy. With that tiniest kick of something just a little bit rancid and raunchy.
BIZARRE.

The carnation fades a bit... or rather melts together with the other notes after a few minutes. I'll be grabbing a second bottle of this. Yep.
editing to add that while wet it reminds me of the sweet behind Morgan leFey. Probably what made me choose this one as "the first to be tried on".
edited because I should really proofread before cutting and pasting from forums :)

I don't know a carnation from nothin', so I can't tell you if that's the flower I smell! But I can tell you that you're totally welcome to my imp if you want it, hehe.

Carnations are sort of spicy anyway, so they'd probably fit into the blend well. That -or- it is another floral that smells like carnation BECAUSE of the spice in the rest of the blend. But I definitely smell a floral level in it.
