UNIQUE indeed. This one is...odd. I can't even really describe it, other than 'foody' and 'does not smell like actual bbq sauce'.

in the imp it's sweet, and foody...almost a bit of chocolate in there...with a hint of something...raunchy. Spicy isn't exactly the right word, but there's an odd smell that grabs you by the nose hairs.

when I put it on, I got this weird whiff of cinnamon that faded almost immediately, and left in its place a little bit of heat, a whole lot of sweet, and a smidge of spicy. With that tiniest kick of something just a little bit rancid and raunchy.

BIZARRE.

It smells totally edible in the bottle. On my skin it becomes a gooey cinnamon spiced and honey'd *carnation* of all things! It's very pretty. And delicious.
The carnation fades a bit... or rather melts together with the other notes after a few minutes. I'll be grabbing a second bottle of this. Yep.

editing to add that while wet it reminds me of the sweet behind Morgan leFey. Probably what made me choose this one as "the first to be tried on".

you know, I can detect a hint of flower in it too once it's on. I ALMOST wrote that but thought it sounded crazy, lol. Thank you for being crazy first. :P

I don't know a carnation from nothin', so I can't tell you if that's the flower I smell! But I can tell you that you're totally welcome to my imp if you want it, hehe.

Ha! I'll take it! Because I decided instead to order a bottle of Cambienne: Spiders, which I'm kind of sad only reminds me of Cambienne Greenliness. It's good, but it's not Fall in my mind. And now I have zero funds.

Carnations are sort of spicy anyway, so they'd probably fit into the blend well. That -or- it is another floral that smells like carnation BECAUSE of the spice in the rest of the blend. But I definitely smell a floral level in it.

I love this scent. To me it smells like chai tea. I put it on at work yesterday and one of my co-workers suddenly said, "Does anyone else smell cookies? Or cinnamon?" So I pulled out my bottle and asked if that was what she was smelling. She confirmed that it was and declared that she was now hungry for cookies, lol. It's by far my favorite Possets scent that I've tried so far.
