Oh so is that where they planted the seed in my mind for the showgirl thing? (A) hehe. I dunno what makes them look at Ali and think "webcam stripper" over "showgirl" but hey, whatever haha. Umm oh I was gonna ramble about Isaac (since I just wrote a fic on him) and I discovered whilst doing so (since I've been working on it all day) some things that weren't picked up on... which, funnily, made my fic work the way I was writing it and I didn't intentionally know until I wrote it and looked at that picture of Simone. Weird. heh. And I was also browsing that original script you put up searching for a speech I swear I remember reading (which some of that stuff was pretty un-Santiago and changed as we clarified back in that post) but for the life of me I couldn't find it! :| I think I'm having delusions now... *needs to stop absorbing Isaac's drugs too*
I'm a huge Muse fan and when I saw what song you'd chosen, I admit I was sceptical , especially as Nikis storyline hasn't enthralled me recently...
I don't know how you did it , but from the cool opening sequence of us zooming into her basement stripper act from Andos MP3 player, I was hooked!! You do such great word association with the images, like "asphyxiated" and ooh especially the "suck the life outta me" with Nathan, HOT!!!
But just the general theme ....not many people know that that song is about Matt Bellamy singing about being in a torturous unhealthy relationship, to which he's addicted ....which SO fits Niki/Jessica...I felt time was running out, and the editing really made me feel like that. Well done, love, you're so talented!!!

And I was so amazed at how many lines I could get actual footage for. I didn't even think of the asphyxiated one til later (it's hard trying to remember every moment from 12 eps). LOL yes Nathan was the only thing I could think of for that line, totally laying innuendo over what happened there...
Oh thanks for that info :D It's always interesting to hear what songs are about and whether that interpretation is different from your own. Indeed that's the kind of relationship she's going through.

LOL ....I could have been so much more inventive with teasing you and Parul, on YouTube, but its fairly early here, and I was still dozy. I thought you'd figure it out if you ever checked out my music, or favourites lists. I used to have a load of Milo vids (surprise surprise), but they got removed for copyright infringement, huh, You Boob!!!
Anyway, the only vid left is one I did ages ago about the kittens growing up, for the hubby ....and Jinx is the name of one of the cats LOL!!
As for the background of the song, its uncanny that you tapped into the heart of it, without realisisng. People tended to think it was about a nuclear war apocalypse type thing. Matt Bellamy is forever hooking up with dodgy women, but it leads to greta music....they're awsome live btw

BEAUTIFUL blending!!! Wow. And I love the interchanging between the b&W and coloured scenes, and the RGB effect on Peter's death @ homecoming. You did a really awesome job. I'm not a Paire fan, but honestly that was a stand-alone job, it wasn't pressed on the matter and didn't throw it in your face. It was more about capturing the beauty and the similarities between the two characters. And considering I'm not a huge Muse fan, I thought that song rocked! LOL So I'm gonna have to go find it now. Jules, it's wonderful! Perfect, you hit the nail on the head with Nikki/Jessica! I loved seeing all the clips with her switching back and forth, especially the last one where she was actually awake for the transformations!:) You know, I also love that in Peter's dream she's looking back at him, you gotta wonder if it's Jessica or Nikki!
Thank you *bows* Glad I was able to achieve that. You know having 2 personalities makes it easier to fit someone in a song... LOL Anyway. Oh, yeah, she's realising a whole lot of things like she's able to use the same power as Jessica now :D And I'm sure the dream is actually Niki cause she's the only one who cares about DL, Jessica wouldn't hold his hand - she wants to kill him! haha
