Wow - it's been a few days since I updated, isn't it? I'm sure you were just hanging out to find out what I've been up to, so I'd better oblige.

Saturday evening Ben and I went out to dinner at Cafe Latte in Pt Chev, to celebrate Christine's birthday. There were 19 of us there, and it was extremely noisy, but fun. There was further fun at her ( Read more... )

Oh, but you really do. I think Starfire and Poing are enjoying it as much for my reactions (as it's new to me) as they are watching it all again :)

It's been years since I've seen Macbeth on stage. When I saw it, it was at the Phantages theatre in T.O., with Christopher Plummer and Glenda Jackson, and they hadn't worked out all the kinks yet, so the audience was a litte testy. Glad to hear your cold is getting better. Chest infections can be pretty scary.

Thankfully the chest is OK - it was just a heavy cold. But thank you for caring *smile*

This is the second time I've seen Macbeth: I went to one at the Herald Theatre last century (heh) that was set during WWII and was just amazing. This was different, but just as good.

And, of course, it has my favourite insult of all time: 'the devil damn thee black, thou cream-faced loon!'
