O-M-GEE, I want your book. Now.:-) I'm working on a time travel with a twenty-first century teen going to regency england and spending a month with a totally hot duke, and I love all things regency. can I magically get a copy? If I could time travel in place of my MC, i'd zip on over to 2009 and pick me up a copy.

Okay, back to regularly scheduled program. :-P

(BTW, I love seing that there is interest in YA historicals these days!)

21st Century heroine, Regency hero?? Shut up. I LOVE THAT IDEA! You've got to tell me how you do it!

I'm also psyched to see there's interest in YA historicals...this is actually the first of three books (each of the friends gets her own story) and I think it's such a fun, juicy teen topic! I love that there are others thinking along those lines!

yay! :-). In PRADA AND PREJUDICE, I basically just knock her unconscious (she buys some Prada heels and falls over). No Magic dust, no time machines, pretty simple really.

Now, if I could only afford those prada heels....

So glad you're here, Sarah! I loved The Other Boleyn Girl, too--such a good book. I think they fudged up the movie cutting out so many important sub plots (like the gay brother/incest bit).

Your book sounds fab--can't wait to read it. =)

I'm so glad I'm here, too! Can't wait to really dig in and be a part of the group! I was SO excited to see TOBG movie...and SO SO SO disappointed. But I think that I probably brought all that on myself! :)

Oooh, Regency and mysteries--sounds good to me!

I've added you to the Book List. Do you have a one-sentence blurb I could use to describe your book? (You can check out the others there for examples.)

how about, "Three best friends in Regency England don gorgeous dresses, attend lavish balls and meet charming boys...all while solving a mystery in the process."
