We were fortunate enough to have Deb and Laurie over to our house for afternoon tea this past weekend! Deb looks fabulous, and was sufficiently energetic that she wanted to see our entire Victorian house (three stories + basement + carriage barn). Such fantastic news - it's almost hard to imagine them doing something normal like seeing friends for tea! I bet Deb just adored your house. Thanks again for all you did and do.

Hi Deb and Laurie, Just wanted to let you know that soon she should be going full speed. It really takes about a year before you say "wow, I feel good today, that's weird". I had my transplant Aug 28th of last year. My surgery did not go without complications and recovery was difficult. I saw a tee-shirt that said "Caregiver - where good meets evil" and it is so true. There are allot of powerful emotions that we feel and most are negative. So, hats off to Laurie. and I hope your fund raiser was a success.
