"Happy " Hallowean!

Not a holiday I celebrate .... but there again, having a lot of friends who do ... and just enjoy the fun.  I hope that those who are partying have a great time.

Thank you, so much kudagirl  and pfeifferpack   for my e-cards ... both were brilliant, and cheered up my afternoon.  It's cool here ... and looks like rain, so you need cheering up don't you, when you see

I remember Halloween at school and going treat treating. Sad that the world has changed so that it isn't safe like that anymore.

Many of the churches here have a Fall fest instead of Halloween. It's nice,but not the sort of fun I remember as a kid.

As a retail worker, I'm glad the season will be over soon. The section where we have the Halloween things is trashed daily. People tear the costumes apart and leave stuff all over the floor. And this is just the beginning of the holiday seasons here. I come home covered in glitter from handling things during the holidays. Not much fun.

In England Hallowean was never really "done" when I was a kid ... and now you get the sad combination of kids having fun ... and some teens terrorising the neighbourhood.

Here the Christmas stuff is fighting with the Hallowean costumes in the shops!
