Spike Drabble - Waiting For Tomorrow

I did say last week that I had written a drabble - yes it needed a bit of tweaking ... but mabel_marsters  was, as ever, a huge star!

This is written on the last night before the final battle in "Chosen" - and are Spike's thoughts as he sits "waiting for tomorrow".

I believe we can defeat the First Evil tomorrow. I have no doubts about that

Thank you - it came from a thought we had at Church a couple of weeks ago, and Spike immediately came to mind.

Sorry, I'm playing catch up still. This was lovely. I could imagine Spike thinking this just before Buffy came walking down the stairs the night before the big battle.

As we watch him looking at the necklace - then standing up to meet his girl, it is obvious that Love is the deciding factor .... again!
