Day Out With Claire

When Brenda arranged to visit I had hoped she could stay another day, but it was not to be.  As Claire had swapped things around so that we could all go out, we kept thhe trip anyway.

We went to Agatha Christie's home Greenway in Torquay. The house was Georgian (my favourite type of property), although the original house was built in Tudor times. ( Read more... )

It looks like a house one could actually live in - carefully, anyway.

I love those butterfly cups - and the idea of Max Mallowan sleeping in his camp-bed at home!

Yes, it is a very comfortable house ... and "designed" as a home for use with the family.

Those handles are lovely, but no, I wouldn't dare use them! I suppose Max sleeping on the camp bed is better than the traditional "separate bedrooms"
