I went to the doctors today and have been signed off for another 2 weeks. So, more daytime TV awaits! He has also sent me to have chest x-rays, becuse although he thinks I am OK, 6 weeks of illness needs confirmation.

So, Jiffy gets to have company for a bit longer ... he gets lunch every day, so he thinks it's great!!

Love that Dr Who idea! I'd want to go back to 1483 and see what really happened to the Princes in the Tower because I have always been fascinated by that story - I'd really like a Dr Who episode that tackles that.

Yes - for me it would be great to see the building of Stonehnge, and the pyramids. To see authentic performances of Beethoven, etc

I'm glad you've been to the doc - chest infections are tricky.

I have had a bad virajl infection every year, but this has now gone on for over 6 weeks, rather than a normal week

I hope they don't find any baddies in you!

I agree with your choice of TV verse and reason for it. I almost said you could accomplish the same with Outlander, but I then realized that series only goes back in time...unless you're in the past, in which case you can return to the present/future. Even then, the series's present is our past.

I will admit I have never watched Outlander (how has that happened!!!), but just would be fascinating to see things like Stonehenge being built, etc

However I don't want to go into the future - that will arrive quickly enough anyway ;)

I wish I could travel with the Doctor, but without all the danger and drama that comes with traveling with the Doctor!
