I hope the (probable) final sort goes well. It's hard letting go of a family home. The mister's mum is moving into assisted living and is putting the house she's lived in for over sixty years on the market. We're going up to help sort what goes with her and what goes into a living estate sale next month.

Oh we still have more to do, but getting there. Thank you , it certainly seems hard to say that final goodbye to "Mum & Dad", even though I know it is coming.

Mum was always a hoarder and everything moved from house to house anyway.

I hope things go well with her move. Dad is now in a home, and once the house is sold it will be invested to pay for his ongoing care.

Didn't hear about a Charity House Clearance before (not sure that's done here in Germany). Sounds like a good solution for you; the house will be empty then and cleaned too.

There are a lot of house clearance firms, so it is good to be able to use a Charity - this one is Hospice Care.
