I don't have a TV, but do watch a few things on catch-up on my computer.  The only series that I watch is Strictly Come Dancing.  This Saturday one of the dances (not my favourite couple) is Caroline [Flack] and Pasha [Kovalev] and they danced the Jive.

What a great photo - and I think my grandmother had a very similar head-dress. Very twenties indeed.

How lovely that you have this stuff and what a great story. I've one of my Grandma and Grandads wedding, coming from a long line of unconventionals my Grandmother wore a yellow wedding dress she made herself and winkle-pickers. (I promise you she didn't look half as dire as that just sounded)

My Grandparents were always traditional ... but I did go to a wedding recently, where she wore orange and had her veil made of the net curtain from her bedroom!!
