...... I can't find what I'm looking for!

I was sure I had a freebie programme on my last pc that would convert .doc and .docx to RTF format for my Kindle.  The only one I can find is one that does to TXT (but I am often loosing all the paragraphs)

So, is there one, or did I trnsfer everything one doc at a time via "save as"

It must be Monday

I think Calibre does what you want.

Thanks - it does, I have just checked. When I first had my Kindle it wasn't happy with the thought.

eta - no it seems to now be picking a few to upload and refusing the rest - LOL!!

If you google "convert .doc to .rtf online free" you will find web sites that will do it for you :)

In case you doesn't have Calibre (and don't want to install it), use an online side.

I use it more for making epub but it does convert to rtf too.

Calibre doesn't like to do anything I already have in Word on my pc ... I had seen on-line ones, just hoped for a multiple answers
