Just A Drabble

I had a day working in clinic today and had an hour at lunch when it was quiet, but I had to sit at the desk - so thought i would use my time creatively. In the end I don't know whether I am happy with how it turned out - What do you think.

Joyce POV, as she watches Spike comforting Buffy in "Fool for Love."

Joyce was terrific, it was so sad when she died cos I thought she brought something to the show that it lacked without her. Even just a background character with few lines.

That's one thing, that for me makes a great series ... even the minor characters are people. joyce was lovely, but sadly underused by Joss.

Poor Joyce was just becoming fully realized as a character when they offed her. No room for adults in the Buffyverse!

None of us end up where we thought we would when we started out. Life trips us up and shoves us where it wants us to go. It how we decide to deal with it that makes or breaks us.

Joyce was a lovely character, wasn't she? And, yes, so sad to kill her off like that. I would love to have seen more of her and Giles.

I totally ship Joyce and Giles. I hated that they were so awkward with each other after Band Candy. I watched an episode today that was just after Joyce's death and Gile was listening to the same record they listened to in Band Candy. It was his moment to grieve for her.

I love that icon you used on your reply. I think he would have totally read fan fiction and enjoyed writing Spuffy.
