A much-needed update

I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate your kind words, your encouragement, and your patience. Clearly, my slacker self does not deserve them.

Obviously, I am still alive (I hope nobody was actually concerned on that count!). I have no intention of completely abandoning The Apprentice; if, God forbid, I actually got to that point, I would, at ( Read more... )

I'm glad to hear you're still kicking - and that you have a wonderful job. It's sounds amazing, by the way - I ought to look into that. I sincerely hope you decide to finish your wonderful story - thank you for your time, your imagination, and your lovely wit!

Thanks so much for your encouragement, lovely people! Just a heads up--my computer has been on the major fritz (so slow that I can barely get the work I'm paid to do done. BUT I am typing this message on a brand new computer! So I should be able to do more work now. :)

Just writing this comment as a fan from fanfiction.net. Thank god you're alive! I thought that you were in a car accident or something. I can't wait till you update :D (Also, congrats on having a job that you actually love. It's rare to find that these days).

Hi! Apparently ff.net's review button is hung up or something, and not letting me through. So I'll comment here. If I do get through later, my alias is Anansii...

And I recently discovered The Apprentice and it's a hoot - of course if you're going to do a Snape do-over with overtones of Johannes Cabal I suppose that goes without saying. :) Cheers to Lily for dragging him behind a tree and snogging him to get him off the dime. I'm envisioning the proposal scene (I'm sure he's going to get to it sometime) and giggling totally unrestrainedly. Oh gosh - and when she finds out about the curse he will presumably not tell her who cast it and she is going to assume....

HEY, get back to writing this book! :)

Umm... reread this and realized I should also congratulate you on what sounds like a lovely job (maybe not the perfect job - after all Grant Imahara has that :) ).
