You guys, I'm stuck

I'm just in a big vortex of blah. Perhaps I am sad about aging (probably I am just lazy). Ask me for any random Apprentice-related scene and I will write it for you within 24 hours of when you post it (unless it spoilers something upcoming).

I...don't know if anyone will actually ask for anything, but it'd make me happy if you did!

prompted, the apprentice

I'd like to read about what Dumbledore thinks/thought of the new Snape.

I can't imagine Dumbledore would just brush it off like he did in your story (admittedly, it has been a while since I read so my recollection is not too clear). While he would not take any sort of action, he would definitely try to figure Snape out. He might discuss it with his colleagues, like try to pump Slughorn for information about what Snape has been up to.

I just like reading things from Dumbledore's perspective.

I'm afraid I can't reveal too much about what Dumbledore thinks just yet, but I can give a peek ( ... )

Minerva refrained from snorting-was Horace referring to the altogether unpleasant Mulciber and Avery boys?-as Albus, possibly sharing her thought, asked blandly, "Oh ( ... )

"I'm afraid I can't reveal too much about what Dumbledore thinks just yet, but I can give a peek..."

So, can you give me a rough idea for how many chapters it will be before we start seeing Dumbledore again? Obviously, you plan to have him come back in the future.

Also, thank you very much for the snippet. You made my day. One line that felt really weird though was:

"But I think you'll agree that a talented, ambitious young man is better off in the company of an intelligent, level-headed young lady than in that of other ambitious young men."

I think you're trying to imply that they are glad Snape isn't hanging out with junior DEs, but this comes off as Slughorn being glad Snape isn't gay. I know that's not what you mean though.

I take it that Slughorn is commenting to Dumbledore on his own relationship with Grindlewald, and Albus is hopeful that Snape has found a partner who will keep him grounded, but Minerva doesn't understand this subtext.

I would like some snippet of Lily's and Marlene's conversations about Snape. Since Marlene is actually befriended Snape in a way, it would be interesting to know how she talks to Lily about him (whenever Lily mentions him I presume). On another note, you have written one of the most amazing fan-fictions I have ever read and hope you continue.

Goodness the conversation was hilarious mostly because I remember the jokes in high school primarily being "wand" related anyways I would ask you for more of these but hopefully you will have the upcoming chapter almost done. Side note it wasn't just kindness it was the truth keep up the fabulous work.

Incidentally, this is a fantastic bit of dialogue. Truly hilarious.

I'd like to see Severus missing something that doesn't exist yet. Like a book that hasn't been written yet, a favorite brand of biscuits that's not sold yet, something small but annoying that he has to do without.

Your request fit so nicely with fatal_flower's that I put them together! :)

Sorry for the blahs! It's a nice reminder to me though, even blazingly brilliant writers like you get down in the dumps sometimes. That's my selfish take away lesson anyhow!

I'd be interested in any ruminations Severus might have on Muggle culture. It's always been interesting to me; his father was a Muggle, he loves Lily who embraces the 1970s for all its worth. What does Severs make of it? Would he listen to a Sex Pistols album? What would he make of Lily sporting the latest fashions?

So nifty...

Severus just can't help offending people every where he goes can he?

Oh my gosh! I'm so happy you chose the Cure. I've always thought "Love Song" described Snape and Lily's relationship so perfectly. Then again, I tend to attribute every good love song I hear to Snape and Lily...ugh. Yes, I am pathetic. Anyways, I look forward to whatever you write next!

Hi there. Sorry about the blahs. Can I ask for more of Snape's adventures in the wonderful world of retail, please? Thank you.

Thank you so much :D! It is interesting to see what others think of Snape. Junior Dracula, lol! But at least they now know that he's human ;).
