Why does it have to be a city? I live in a town. It has facilities, including a lot of excellent restaurants, but it doesn't sprawl over umpteen square miles, its buildings aren't designed to intimidate, and the hills are only minutes away. I don't like cities but I love towns.

Towns are all right, but if I want to see the opera, or the theatre, or a large museum, I go to a city. I would rather be in a city with people who share my liberal outlook than fester in a small town, surrounded by arch-conservatives. this is especially important now, when the possibility of being interned in a detention camp as a liberal Democrat and Democratic Socialist looms large. He is deadly serious about doing away with people who stood in opposition to him.
