Would you like to let me know in a (screened) comment here whether I should know you from somewhere, or whether this was a completely

John Coxon is okay. A 17-year-old bisexual with unstoppable enthusiasm and an ability to con desperate old men like me into cheerfully buying him beer. He goes to pub meetings with SF fans, and he lives in Peterborough.

Liz points out that we met (for about, oh, 30 seconds) at Northfield Farm the other weekend. It's entirely possible that it was after that, although since he's defriended me again at some point this evening, I can do nothing with a somewhat easier conscience. (My friends list is a tad out of control already!)

I'm intrigued by your characterisation, though. Honestly, I wouldn't have thought someone's sexuality was necessarily the second most urgent thing to mention when introducing them, but maybe in his case that's true? Or maybe just on your personal scale of these things ;-)

I now also know who dagodfadda is, but I'm still puzzled by brighton64.

Actually, we talked a little at Recombination, as well. I'm sorry I didn't get to speak to you last week -- it was the first time I've made it to the Carlton (on a Thursday, anyway) for about seven months, and there were far too many people to talk to!
