Hello, my lovely ones. It has been a busy day! I spent the morning at the Farmers' Market, marketing the orchard and pressing fresh apple juice. (There's a bottle in my fridge. Yum!)

Something nasty appears to have hooked its little claws into the woodshed AV on my laptop. So, first off the backup which is taking forever. Then I am following instructions on Major Geeks which are long and involved. There goes my morning.

The text on my last post has gone AWOL, probably because it took me 6 hrs to get enough signal for the pics to post.
I have had an excellent day. Mostly roof tiles but I have turned up a teeny glass bead, and a roman coin( except that it seems to be an odd metal, so we will see)!

Dig - report 1
OMG you guise I am WET. It has drizzled persistently all morning. Which is probably for the best, actually. The lady organising the dig hadn't been able to mark out the trenches last might because it was raining too hard, and the guy operating the digger didn't actually know HOW so we are digging most of them by spade. Plan A for this weekend was to go over to London for a friend's birthday. Drinks and dinner this afternoon/evening and go see Alice in Wonderland tmw.
