Oh hon, this is one of my favorite episodes. Cannot even tell you how many times I rewatched multiple scenes. Don't peek at ep reactions. Watch it for yourself.

Well, KIND OF. I also feel like they are fairly disconnected. I mean, I know how they are SUPPOSED to be connected--but the boys could just have easily been in a very similar headspace (Dean suicidal "I'm a grunt", Sam fairly zen but not happy) at the outset of the season as well.
