So fittingly poignant--the boys lose even when they've won...and still Dean will make lemonade as best he can from the lemons...

Or win when they've lost...that's sort of the way I see it. The Leviathans are still out there being all evil but Bobby is alive and they've got each other. Thanks so much for reading!

OMG.

I have to go to BEDDDDDD.

But man, you know I LOVE a good curtain fic + permanent disability, so I'll be reading this the SECOND I wake up tomorrow morning <33333333333333

I'm so looking forward to seeing what you think! (I even hurt Dean's leg in this one for Roque!) Long sleepless night for me too so I hope you got more sleep than I did.

Wow, I'm so glad this worked for you without reading the other. I think this one definitely had more "story" than the first, which unintentionally served to set this one up. I am thrilled the banter and Dean's characterization worked for you. It is difficult changing everything and leaving the essential "Sam & Dean" intact.

Thanks so much for reading - I really appreciate it!

The amount of love I have for this curtain!fic/'verse cannot be measured!

I had to step away from the laptop as soon as I finished (things to do) and distracted already, caught myself wondering "why are my cheeks wet?" I hadn't realized you'd made me cry.

We've talked before about what how much I ♥ self-sacrifice in fic, and this world is exactly it! It's not the dramatic take-a-bullet-for-you kind of heroics I crave, but the more intimate choices of trying to put someone else first, knowing it will cost you. I love how you craft a story in which both brothers are trying so hard to be aware of how hard the other one has it, and trying to make it better in whatever way they can.

Please - never stop writing!

Hee, it's kind of more like "I'll work at Starbucks for you!" kind of heroics, isn't it? :) For me, that's a sacrifice, only because I prefer a little place that pours flowers in the steamed milk.

I'm so glad this moved you and that you enjoyed it. I had no idea I was actually going to finish this one. It was a 1000 WIP on my laptop for a long time. Nice to know it wasn't too late to post - thank you!

Love it! I love that Sam is sassy and bitchy. I love that Dean is DEEN (and I like picturing him in a barista apron) and I love that this is love. Love! <3

Yay, I tried so hard to make Sam sassy and bitchy and keep Dean as DEEN (hee!) and I'm so glad you read it and enjoyed it! ♥
