Yesterday while I was at school, I got an email from my parents saying that they were contacted by YFU USA again. Why? This time YFU Japan had called them expressing concerns about me possibly having clinical depression because my psycho first host mother called them on the 26th with complaints about me. *WTF?! THAT`S NEARLY A MONTH SINCE I LEFT ( Read more... )

Stupid little complaints.

But I`m not going home for that reason anymore. My school starts up again on January 8th and I don`t want to miss any work, so I want to go back slightly early to recover from jet lag, get re-enrolled in school, figure out the classes I need to take because I missed a year of school, etc.

I do love Japan and I have had such an amazing year. It`s unbelievable how much I`ve accomplished, seen, and experienced.

And it`s just two weeks earlier of the actual return date. Plus YFU said it`s ok to leave earlier than January 10th if we (the exchange students) want to, because school in Japan is out and we have nothing more to do. So I`m planning on coming home before Christmas after school here gets out on the 21st.

Oh, wow, only two weeks? I thought it was like a month.
Sounds like going home early is what you want, so... I change my mind. XD Do it. haha.

Yeah, going home early at this point I don`t think will be a bad choice. I mean, I like it here but my personality doesn`t really fit well for living with a family at least. :( My current family is really nice though so I feel good! My first two were sort of like what is happening with you. =/ Mind your own business damnit you crabby Japanese women! ♥ love!

My first host mother was psycho. I don`t know how I lasted under her rule for so long. But, it was quite an experience...

My personality doesn`t fit well with crabby Japanese women either XD.

I'd say, if you don't think you have anything left to enjoy in Japan, you should go home. If there's still something though, even the smallest of things, like the mentos at the local store, stay in Japan for the rest of the time. Being in Japan can be a once in a life time experience, so reap all the benifits you can, even the littlest ones.

And your ex-host mom sounds spazzy... Oi.

I realized that I truly didn`t want to go home yet, so I`m staying.

Yeah, she`s psycho. That woman has issues...

I'm actually glad you chose to stay.. I was hoping you would.

It's unfortunate that you had to deal with that. I'm sorry.
