1) Hermione's "Me sir! me me me sir!" is probably more canon than we'd thought;

2) re: "Plot Potion" I'm strongly reminded of a page of Marvel comics where Deadpool (a very self-aware Meta character) says there's a seventh and most powerful Infinity Gem called the "Contenuity Gem", and proceeds to steal it from Thanoes's place.

Harry: That’s odd-there’s all these little annotations scrawled all over the book.

You'd think Harry would recognize the handwriting. Granted, a person's handwriting evolves over the years, but it still retains some similarities.

Harry has seen Snape's writing on the blackboard, and on returned assignments (I'm assuming that Harry must have turned in some assignments at some point, but maybe that's a stretch) for years. Can Harry really be that oblivious? Hmmm... forget I asked. But you'd think Hermione would notice a resemblance.

Snape: Well, since you and your little friend seem to be struggling so much, why don’t you allow me to demonstrate? [Grabs Ron’s wand and fires a nonverbal spell at Harry]

I believe he used his own wand in canon.(I had to check because you made me think Severus may have become the master of Ron's wand.)

Hermione: Well…is what he’s doing really any different from what you did just last year?

Because Rowling has no other idea how to teach anything.
