Room 313 | Monday All Day

Feb 21, 2011 12:50

It had only been three days since Nico left for his trip home and already he was back. When things had wrapped up quickly, Nico had been excited, thinking he could join the school group in Hawaii a little late and get Jason to teach him how vacations worked ( Read more... )

Luke had managed to catch his portal to Fandom's universe without managing to pass out and even used the last of the energy he had to pop into the room instead of walking from the causeway to the dorms. Last thing he needed was to be found passed out on the ground.

When he did make it to the room he dropped his sword on the floor and immediately put his weight against the nearest piece of furniture (in this case, his desk). He was sweating, breathing heavily and wincing whenever he moved. His right arm was hanging uselessly by his side and blood was flowing out of his shoulder and nose. Simply put, he looked like hell.

He didn't seem to notice Nico was there at the moment, instead being more focused with leaning against his desk and trying (and failing) to tug off his armor with one hand. The metal was digging into the open wound on his shoulder and the pain was becoming unbearable.

There was no missing the sudden arrival of a broken and bleeding roommate. It was instantly clear to Nico there was no time for a nice question and answer session and he was on his feet like lightning, reaching to help Luke get his bloody armor off while assessing what was going on with the blood flow. He couldn't instantly tell where it was all coming from, just that it was comparable to things he'd seen during the war and that was never a good sign. "Di immortales, Luke! Come on, you need to sit down."

Luke had jumped when he heard Nico's voice, which did not do anything good for the pain he was in. That was ignored though for the panic that settled in when he realized that he wasn't alone. Luke allowed Nico to help take his armor off, if only because he was too shocked to put up a fight.

"Y-You're not supposed to be here," he stammered, unable to keep himself from stating the obvious. It felt like his heart was dropping down into his stomach. Nobody in Fandom was ever supposed to see him like that.

"Seems you lucked out," Nico muttered, not actually caring about the why of the situation right now. The wound on Luke's shoulder and all the blood he was losing were just a little more important at the moment. "Do you need a doctor or should I see what I can do for you here?"

What Nico could do was clean things up, feed him nectar, and keep his mouth shut. Given Luke had popped into the room instead of the clinic, Nico thought he knew the answer. But he was also pretty sure that sort of cut was in need of stitches.
