Dexcon: Closing Time

So, the 12th dexcon is over, leaving with it the usual wreckage of sleep deprivation, excessive alcohol consumption and financial destruction, as well as the satisfaction of four days spent with a number of people who, I've realised recently, have known me longer than anyone outside of my family these days. I'd post a Con Report, but my brain is squishy

I'm glad I made it to one. Now I figure, I can come visit when it's NOT the middle of the hottest month of the year, and not feel guilty. :)

*sigh* It makes me sad that I never went when it was in its heyday, but I have a feeling that the NYE party is going to end up taking its place.
