Yesterday: Got home close to 7 p.m. after working late. Bathed and shampooed both cats, trimmed their claws (easier after bathing - you swaddle them in the towel and they're too wet and miserable to struggle), brushed out the excess fur since they're shedding like a mofo right now, dusted, washed my bedding, washed the bathmat and the towels in the ( Read more... )

I only wish they were still that size - it'd be so much easier. But yes, clean smelling kitties now, with much reduced shedding factor (although that's more because I spent a couple of hours watching Halloween and brushing them both).

Not at all. *grins* They're both used to being handled (Spike lets Dex turn him upside down and rub his belly, even) and I basically just get a firm hold on their neck scruff and use the slippery sides of the bath to contain them. :) I get wet, but not scratched.
