Challenge: Not for a challenge. Am I allowed to do that?
Notes: Tiny spoiler for Ch 37.
He stares at the computer screen and sees his father standing behind him, glasses clear and eyes gazing upon the spot where Raito’s reflection will be. He looks above his father without looking behind, keeping his head straight. Does L still notice?, and he sees blurry, illegible figures floating about in the air.
Raito casually turns to the side, keeping the chain from clinking while reaching for another consomme-flavored chip (Raito feels something laugh deep within his heart, recalling something he does not remember), hoping to ease his curiosity.
L glances at Raito, calculating every action and movement (I see you, Kira) with a mind that seems (is) faster than light. Raito glances at L, too; he sees more figures hanging high and tries to decipher their meaning (Raito must figure them out now). He blinks, slowly, and they are gone.

Well, that was my first drabble ever. I hope it was alright. Thoughts and concrit (especially!) are very much appreciated. Be as harsh as you want to be on the concrit - but if you do that, can you say at least one nice thing about it? Else I might start going into "self-pity" mode. (x__X) It is not a pretty sight. *has no confidence in her writing*
Oh, and thanks to maboroshi_hime for beta-ing. Yes, I need a beta for drabbles.
