Where do I start with my problems for this episode? There was no Bonnie! I was so pissed that I started crying. I couldn't believe they had her gone for four episodes, brought her back for one, and then took her out of this one. Are you freaking serious? So, okay. Bonnie's not here, but at least we'll learn about her ancestor right? One of the most powerful witches in the family line? Nope! She was just there to explain to Stefan what was going on. I mean I get the flashbacks were in Stefan's point of view, but I'm still pissed. It's like the writers don't give a crap about anyone's background that's not connected to the big three. Once again, I will point at Tyler ( ... )

Its effin' ridiculous. Bonnie is important to the storyline which they continue to prove whether they like it or not. The Bennetts were there at the beginning for the Salvatores - how can they hope to seperate Bonnie from them when it gets tough? Emily didn't CHOOSE to get involved with the vampires - they involved HER & they've never really been able to free themselves. That was the point of this week's show. I would've liked to see Bonnie TRY & cut off all things to lead to vampires. Idk..search for a spell to make her more powerful..or undetectable etc. we need to see SOME backlash from her against the vampires..

I hate the fact that if no on is in Elena's immdeiate radar they don't have any screen time. RIDICULOUS

This is so true. They've had Stefan say that the Bennetts have ALWAYS helped the Salvatores. When are we going to see this? Are they planning on severing the connection between the two families? Ugh. Hopefully this Thursday's episode will be a start. I REALLY need a Stefan/Bonnie scene. He and Sheila used to be friends back in the day. He should tell her he feels her pain or something.

Ian, Paul & Kat are the only ones that made me cry when they cry. I think shows talent as well as range. The strongest actors in the whole thing. Apart from Anders of course

I completely agree with your assessment. At times I felt like certain scenes were completely unnecessary. I wish they would have had Bonnie in the episode...and that she could have learned more about Emily and her powers. Whenever Kat is absent, I tend not to care too much for the show. I'm pissed they killed Pearl and Harper, especially since both characters still have a lot more story to tell. Harper & Bonnie could have had some really amazing scenes. Plus, Pearl had a sh!tty death scene, she was so badass when she went after Damon...and now she takes a stake to the heart without a fight. No....ma'am.

I think only the DE & Stelena & Stefan fans were happy this week. Its becoming a tradition for the TVD writers too peeve off the majority of fanbases jus so viewers can be force fed DE scenes. The exchanges between DE could've been finished up in 2 scenes MAX. I would've rather seen Bonnie build up her powers which will be relevant to the finale..and Maroline. I would also like to see Tyler..I mean they can't jus shove into s2 and expect us to swllow he's a werewolf.

Damon & Elena are waaay to forced, it just doesn't work for me. Exactly, but Tyler's s.l is going to be so sh!ttly executed next season because they really didn't give any indication that there is something up with him. Ugh, TVD can do better with covering all bases and adding more balance to the show. I'm growing tired of Elena being in EVERY major s/l when she really isn't needed. I'm waiting to see how Elena will end up being an important part to Tyler's s/l...one can only assume that the reason tptb haven't moved on with Tyler's s/l because they have no way to tie Elena to it.
