Ok. I'm sorry guys for not writing the reviews cz well I just thought the writing really spoke for itself. But in case you are suffering from some form of amnesia like the beloved TVD writers, here is the cliff notes version:

a) Tyler is a werewolf. Big shocker. Considering they waste spent so much time trying to get us to guess what he was, I'm ( Read more... )

I am with you on not giving a crap about Jeremy and Bonnie, and why Perfection makes for a boring character and if the show wants us to root for her, give her some flaws.

And I think I missed something about the 100 witches that were killed in 1864. Did they say that they were from Salem, Mass? Or did I mishear that?

Thnx for reading :)

Elena too me at least does have flaws. When it comes to SE. Its like she's not afraid to be vulnerable with Stefan or show him that she isn't perfect. With alot of the other characters ESP. Damon she seems to put on this composed face. I can't really blame seen as she sees how the 'responsible females' in her soiety act. I mean look at Mrs Lockwood. But yeah, you do have to squint to see them tbh..

I can't remember but I think so. They were supposed to be a recreation of the Salem Witch Trials in Mystic Falls. And I think those witches were running away from Salem. Its mentioned in s1 as well somewhere..

I just realized what I wrote and I meant to say that Caroline and Elena are shown to be flawed individuals and that makes them very relatable and you want to root for them. Bonnie? Not so such :)

Re: Salem witches: I hate, hate, HATE when shows/movies get the history wrong about how the accused witches died in Salem, Mass. Those poor souls were hanged and one person was pressed to death--why does the media insist on trying to say that they were burned at the stake? Is it more poetic? Either way, it shows an appaling lack of research that I can't forgive them for.

Actually, Sheila (Bonnie's grandmother) said that all of the women accused in Salem were innocent. I don't think she ever said they were burned. The only place it was specifically stated that the burning of accused people took place is Mystic Falls.

I don't understand in what sense Bonnie is being a martyr. She finally, after I had been dying for it, said in this episode that she wasn't just doing this For Elena, but for Jeremy and everyone else who would be screwed should Klaus succeed in breaking the curse. I honestly couldn't believe the producers were actually letting Bonnie say this, because I was so positive that they were going to have her be an Elena drone. That "sisterhood" is so uneven that it's not even funny anymore which is why I'm so very glad that Bonnie said she's not just thinking about Elena in this situation. That is the same Bonnie who lied to Elena in order to protect the people of Mystic Falls.

Unlike Elena's plan, Bonnie's plan isn't to offer herself up to Klaus and die. First of all, Elena's plan would actually make the curse happen. Bonnie's plan actually has to do with her fighting. She's not going in this to die, but she realizes that there is a big possibility that she might and she's accepted that. She's accepted that for a long time, I feel, ( ... )

THE GOOD:

Klaus: Elijah is a real BAMF, I love him too! Alaric being the one to kill Elijah though and to have Klaus possess his body, I wonder if that’s of any significance? aside from saving Damon’s ass (again). I doubt the writers are, that clever though and probably reading to much into it. That smirk was shudder worthy and kind of hot. I’m becoming a real freak.

Bonnie: I just think that this episode reaffirms what Bonnie said to Ben about being willing to die for Elena. It's her weakness, the thing that people use against her. We don't see her family and think she's the loneliest character on the show. No Grams. No Dad (I stand firm in my belief that their relationship since we've never seen it, isn't on the best of terms) and aside from Lucy who only lingered for a second (that scene where she begged her not to go made me cry so hard, I'm an emotional ball! I know, I know!). I understand it, she doesn't want to lose another person she loves, the only family she has at the moment. I just don't feel Elena is returning the ( ... )

THE BAD:

Stefan: I thought he was okay in this episode but on a whole was bothered by everything regarding D/S/E/K. I don't know what it is but the scene that bothered me most was the boys giving her, their house.

Stelena: There was that brief moment before her speech where they did that cute forehead thing that makes me turn into romantic-goop.

Elena: I struggle to like her as a character in general and only ever feel something for her when she's with Stefan.

Katherine: Ooo, brave girl, voicing your opinion about Katherine like that. Beware the pitchforks! You've my support though, I can't see where her storyline is going to head after this whole Klaus debacle either. There is just no where else to go with her. She's been evil. She's attempted to break up Stelena and killed many people, so aside from tossing Stefan in a bush and stupidly falling into a trap, what else can she do right now?

Jeremy: Season one Jeremy I could live with and his relationship with Anna was pretty cute but from the moment he started begging her to ( ... )
