This is such a nice surprise! Since the season is over, I wasn't expecting anything from you. The biggest disappointment, aside from Bonnie's total lack of episodes in the latter half of the season, really was Damon. I had no problem with them making him a psycho. I loved that a vampire was scary, and killed, and didn't value human life. I think he does love Stefan. The episode where he saves him is one of my favorites just because of that, but it's not really a warm love. I expected them to gradually cool him down over the seasons. Instead, they've apparently cooled him down in HALF a season because they need to get the triangle going. That's the only reason. I cringe right along with you when Damon tries to act nice because it makes no sense. I don't understand why he's trying to change for Elena because she never asked him to. She certainly didn't have much of a problem with the way he was (that hug she gave him in Fool Me Once). Saying she has a connection with him

yeah IA. Damon in 2nd half of season is OOC I wonna smack him HARD. Hopefully Bonnie will set his ass straight soon lol I wish they hadn't made him such a goody-two shoes. I'm surprised Stefan hasn't pointed out the irony to Damon..Anyways, spoilers are he's gonna get new powers, and I'll be thankful as long as he starts acting like a layered character again rather than flppin' Romeo. I also wish they had built up the bro's love more..you know made both Stefan/D go thro more trials to prove their love for each other before the dratted triangle
That's cool that he'll be getting new powers. Hopefully they go back to the crow thing. It kind of disappeared, and they never gave an explanation of why it was there in the first place.

Delena is just so many things, and none of them are good. Lol. I wouldn't have such a problem with it if Elena wasn't already dating and in love with Stefan, and they weren't messing with Damon's character in the name of it.
I have a nagging suspicion that Damon is gonna become a shape-shifter you know, into a crow. I bet Katherine has something to do with it, and lol I jus realised, Stefan can now make the animal jokes lmao but seriously. How are they gonna fit all this in with the budget if they're bringing in the werewolves (which I believe are evil btw)

I think my main problem with Delena is that how uncomfortable it is. I mean Elena seems to get amnesia as to Damon's cruel side when she's around him & seems naive & Damon - is well nothing great either. Delena is another name for character assassination

I think that there was a lot of things the sane viewers could've handled in s1 but Damon becoming pussified was NOT one of them. They sit us up all season trying to convince us he's a complex character blah blah and NOW he wants to change for a girl who has no problem with him in the first place, Out of the possible love interests (Stefan doesn't count lol) Bonnie is the ONLY one that didn't accept his psychotic tendencies.. and like or not the character assassination has actually pushed Damon in actual fact AWAY from DE (which made it so UN-believable/cringey as to the way he was talking to Elena) towards DB. The 'new' Damon is still unstable, Elena doesn't know how to handle him or Stefan tbh..and I think he's gonna ask for Bonnie's help or Bonnie will help him. His REAL sefl is gonna re-emerge and from s1 we can see Bonnie is ready to take him on, in all aspects
