This is me and my Dad.
Iv'e always been very proud of my Dad,as he always wanted to do one of two jobs, lorry driver or taxi driver..he drives a lorry.
And for as long as I can remember he has allways done so.
I can recall going to work with him during school holidays and we'd go to all sorts of places, him,my sister and me.
One time we went down to London,to the Anglia TV office, when he worked for an express freight company,my sister had been down before, and she knew all about the 'jerky'lift, previous to getting in the lift,we had been to McDonalds and bought food and drinks...when we got in the lift, both of them warned me about the lift,me thinking I knew better, started to drink as the lift moved up...Coke went up my nose, from my throat and then out my nose!,boy did it hurt some, those two started laughing!,when we got to the top,the lady on reception said "oh so you got,got by the lift!?".
I also remember when me and my sister would play hide and seek with my Dad,he'd find all the best places and we;d spend ages trying to find him, most of the time he'd hide way up in the tree we had in our back yard.
I must say the time it made me most proud to be my dad's son was at my sisters wedding funnily enough,as all the family would get told by my nan(Dad's Mum),"This is Terry,Tims boy!"
So yeah..really all I can say is:
Happy Fathers Day Dad!
Love
Terry~xx
