He hasn't done anything, don't worry about that. [Well, apart from display a disturbing obsession with this man.] He didn't ask me to contact you, and nor am I doing it to ask you to deal with him. I can handle him quite well, thank you.
Really now? [Suddenly, cheerful. Maybe a little too cheerful.] That's quite a relief.
[Not that he believes a word of it. He knows Yaha's... more questionable habits, and if this man didn't have a problem with them... Well, perhaps he shared them. He was one of Yaha's friends, after all. It wouldn't be surprising.]
You think I'm trying? No, unfortunately I'm not stupid. He's beyond help on that front. [His voice darkens.] What will it take to get you to at least treat him like a person?
I'll admit to ignoring him, but I've never once told him to leave me alone. That's his own choice. [And one he was relieved by.]
Listen. There's nothing I can do for him. And while I'm glad you're so concerned with other people's business, there's nothing you can do to change it, either.
Unfortunately for you, it isn't other peoples' business. It's my business because Yaha is my friend and you're making him unhappy because of your own selfishness.
[Plus Yaha asked him to find out.]
It wouldn't kill you to at least be friendly to him. You don't have to sleep with him; he's got plenty of people for that.
[Yaha's sex life is one thing he does not need to know about, thank you very much. Though he does hold himself back from questioning how many of those people were willing.]
I wouldn't say I've ever treated him unkindly. I've been honest with him, but he's always been skilled at twisting everything anyone says to suit himself. Even if I did say something cruel, he'd only hear what he wants to hear from me. I'm sure, as his friend, you're already aware of that.
[A pause, before he speaks. The channel becomes a little privater.]
After you missed his Valentine's date, he destroyed everything in his apartment and covered it in pitch black, hiding from everything. If his roommate had been there he'd likely have died. I coaxed him out of it. And don't think this is the first time he's snapped over you. I'm the one that keeps him calm when he loses it due to you. I'm the one making your excuses, trying to find a reason for you treating him like that that he'll accept because otherwise, he's going to hurt himself and everyone else.

[A pause. Yaha's insanity is nothing new, but other people giving enough of a damn about the elf to confront him about it is. And this man... Well, he seemed like a stubborn one. Just his luck.]
Treating him like that. How am I treating him? I told him I couldn't be there for this... Valentines. And of course, he wouldn't accept it. But sooner or later he's going to have to.
It's regarding Yaha.

Dare I ask what he's done now? Actually, no, don't answer that.
-I'm not his keeper. You do understand this, don't you?

What are your intentions regarding him?

You're recovering well, I take it?
[Yes, he just completely ignored the question.]
Reply
That's correct. And you? I didn't see anything of you after that chaos.
[A pause, and he sighs. Well, he never expected this to be easy.]
Urick. Should I be blunt? His obsession with you is unhealthy both to him and everyone around him.

[Urick pauses too, as though considering his words before he replies.]
Yes, it does have that tendency. Well, if you have any luck persuading him out of it, do tell me how you managed, won't you?

[A low laugh.]

Do you really think my indulging him would make the situation any better?

He won't accept it, Urick. All this is doing is breaking him further.
