Japanese PS3, you are a marvelous thing!

Wow, my family received such a generous gift today - a friend of our family gave us a PS3!!! Yeah, I don't play videogames (with the exception of DDR when certain people coerce me : P), so why I am I so excited about this? Because it's the Japanese version of the PS3, which means it can play Japanese (region 2) dvds!!!! I've been wanting a region-

Eeeee! That is an awesome gift! I hate region-y ness, I suspect that is the reason why my TV here rejects some of my DVDs...but wow, Gedo Senki! I don't care if it doesn't have subtitles, between my knowledge of the original plot and your Japanese, we'll figure it out! XD

Now I just have to find out when Gedo Senki comes out on DVD. ^ ^ Hopefully by this summer, since it was released in theaters last summer. Man, I can't wait!

Oh, yes, I'll have to watch the hippie Santa Claus movie w/you sometime too. I've already seen it, but it would be fun to see something Xmasy in the summer, maybe ^_-
